Signs Title Sequence

This has 18 titles. the most important titles are titles 3 as this shows the main actor in the film and so the audience will know what actor to expect, title 5 as this is the name of the film and so the audience will know the film they are seeing and it will also excite them for the film to come and finally the other most important title is title 18 which names the producer, writer and director, this is the same person but its most important as you know who the idea of the film came from and you also can tell if you've seen any other of this directors films and you would then be able to expect the best. The font style is narrow and clear, its set out in an authoritative style which therefore links to the title of the film 'signs'. As the font style is conveyed just like a sign is, with authority behind it. finally the relationship to the genre can be shown threw the opening sequence as its a simple but effective layout this therefore links to thriller as you will always expect something else to happen, it is also simple because its to show something deeper within, a sign is a warning for something and so the opening titles are clear just like a warning about what you are going to experience from watching the film.
