Se7en timeline

There are 26 titles.
Title 3 is important because it shows the creator of the film; this could be helpful in giving the viewer a possible insight into how the movie could be conveyed to the audience if the viewer already has a feel of the directors filming techniques.
Titles 4 and 5 are important because they are the lead actors. these titles come before the name of the film and this shows importance as they are what the audience will see before they see the oncoming film, the importance of the main characters is emphasised by the fact that they are presented before the title of the film itself.
the font relates to the thriller genre due to the fact that it is a scratched and somewhat distorted to maybe convey that someone is scratching at something either to get help or to source something a bit deeper. the relationship to the genre and narrative of the film is shown through the significance of each shot, it starts with the most significant titles and slowly they get to the least significant and finally end on the most the director of the film. this can link to the crime genre as setting the titles out like this could have some resemblance to the way you solve a crime. it starts with the most important evidence the murders and then you slowly unravel the mystery just like the unraveling of the titles and finally you find the person you were looking for, or the actual director of the film.
